This study deals with the development of blank manufacturing in sheet metal product manufacturing company. The objective of the study is to improve the conditions of manufacturing team through the new features of device investment in changing management culture.

Literature section examines key figures of machine shop activities and the theory of sheet metal techniques. General development of management methods is also dealt with, especially process management. Experimental section examines the adaptability of different material options for sheet metal products and the cost influences of development material use. Effects of the device investment is handles through the utilization of machine capacity. Development of the manufacturing team is viewed by following the team’s activities in a two year period, in which time the object company is implementing a process organization model.

The outcome of the study are being used object company’s operative activities.
