The thesis was carried out for North Karelia University of Applied Sciences (NKUAS). It describes the introduction of NKUAS’s new video conferencing devices in NKUAS. As the new equipment became available for professional use in NKUAS it became essential to examine, instruct and train the staff on the use of the new devices. The additional aim of this thesis was to examine a variety of video conferencing software.

The implementation of the thesis was mainly practice-based. It consisted of installation of the video conference devices, testing Cisco Jabber Video software, creating instructions for the equipment and arranging training for the staff. The practice-based part of the thesis was documented in Kyvyt.fi-service blog.

The thesis fulfilled all its objectives with the exception of testing Cisco Jabber Video with the video conference devices. However, the information gathered in this thesis can be used further within the future testing of Cisco Jabber Video. The trainings, manuals and installations of the equipment will help NKUAS to introduce the new video conferencing devices.
