The importance of digital marketing communications has increased significantly especially in the context of sports marketing. For an amateur-based sports team that is largely operated by volunteers, modern digital marketing tools and especially social media platforms like Instragram, Facebook and Youtube are increasingly more important. These platforms can be efficiently utilized with limited financial and people resources to increase the awareness and thus attraction towards Veiterä ry and bandy as a sport, further increasing the already scarce financial resources through increased ticket sales and sponsorship cash flows. The purpose of this thesis was to create a digital marketing communication plan for Veiterä ry utilizing the SOSTAC-framework. The plan can be going forward utilized as a guideline in developing the overall quality of digital marketing Veiterä carries out.
