Opinnäytetyö on työnjohtajan opas Fixu Ville Oy:n yrittäjälle, ja sen tarkoituksena on toimia operatiivisen johdon tukena rakennusalalla. Yrittäjän tulevaisuuden tavoitteena on laajentaa yritystoimintaansa ja palkata työntekijöitä yritykseen. Opas auttaa yrittäjää rekrytoimaan sopivimmat työntekijät yritykselle, perehdyttää heidät hyvin ja on heille reilu työnantaja hoitamalla esimiestehtävät rakennusalan työehtosopimuksen ja Suomen lain määrittämillä tavoilla.

Oppaassa käsitellään, mitä työsopimuksen tulee sisältää ja palkanmaksua koskevat säännökset. Oppaassa on esillä työnantajan ja työntekijän velvollisuudet turvalliseen työn tekemiseen. Opas sisältää myös tärkeitä tietoja perhevapaiden, sairaus- ja tapaturma-ajan palkan ja irtisanomisen osalta. Lopuksi työssä kuvataan yleisiä yritystoiminnan periaatteita ja käsitellään aliurakoitsijan konkurssia.

Opasta varten perehdyttiin laajaan määrään eri materiaaleja, joiden avulla voitiin kartoittaa työnantajan lakisääteisiä velvoitteita työnantajana. Oppaaseen pyrittiin keräämään yrittäjälle tärkeimpiä asioita tiivistettynä, jotta yrittäjän aika ei kuluisi kahlatessa työehtosopimusta ja lakia arjen keskellä.

Opasta tehdessä huomattiin, että työehtosopimus ja lait määrittävät aika paljon työnantajien toimintaa rakennusalalla ja ammattijärjestöt ovat pitäneet työntekijän puolia. Työn suurin hyöty tuli tekijälle, kun hän sisäisti säännöllistä palkkaa maksavien yritysten velvoitteet ja tuloksen teon merkityksen.

The aim of the thesis was to enable the increase of the turnover and revenue of a company through the increase of production volume. The thesis was to become a guidebook with which to improve the desirability of the company. The guidebook was to help the entrepreneur to lure professional builders and choose the best alternatives of the candidates.

The method that was used in the project was to first study the labor legislation and employment contracts and then collect the most important data for a small employer. The challenge was to write those collected texts into own words and make the project compact.

The final year project collected the relevant employment contracts together with the statues governing the wages. The responsibilities of both the employer and the employee were looked into. Furthermore, important information regarding labor legislation as well as general business principles were studied. The project also studied the situation of a subcontractor's bankruptcy.

The thesis combined a wide variety of materials that identify the employer's statutory obligations. The most important things for an entrepreneur were collected into a guide to help the entrepreneur to concentrate on business, not on studying the collective bargaining agreement and the employment law. The greatest benefit of the thesis is for a small employer.
