Auttamisvelvollisuus on säädetty myös tieliikenne-, pelastustoimi- ja poliisilaissa (Poliisilaki (493/1995) Pelastuslaki (468/2003)Tieliikennelaki (267/1981).) Työnantajalla on velvollisuus työturvallisuuslain nojalla huolehtia työpaikan turvallisuudesta ja terveellisyydestä työntekijöille. (Työturvallisuuslaki 738/2002 46 § ja 47 §). Ensiapukoulutuksessa mukana ollut tai sitä harjoitellut henkilö on valmiimpi toimimaan todellisissa tilanteissa (Castren, Korte & Myllyrinne 2012.) Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on järjestää teemapäivä, jonka avulla pyritään rohkaisemaan työntekijöitä toimimaan todellisissa ensiaputilanteissa niin työ- kuin vapaa-ajallakin. Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena on tuottaa ensiapumateriaalia kierrätyskeskuksen perehdytys käyttöön, joka koostuu teoriatiedosta ja kuvallisista ohjeista seuraavista aihealueista: hätäilmoituksen tekeminen, tajuttoman potilaan ensihoito, verenvuodon tyrehdyttäminen sekä nyrjähdysten ensiapu. Toteutan opinnäytetyöni toiminnallisena projektityönä. Kohderyhmä on kierrätyskeskuksessa työskentelevät työtoimijat sekä ohjaajat. Opinnäytetyön toimeksiantaja on Oulun kaupunki, Sosiaali- ja terveystoimi. Ensiapupäivän päätteeksi tein kierrätyskeskuksen henkilökunnalle, työtoimijoille sekä rastiohjaajille kyselyn, jonka avulla arvioin ensiapupäivän onnistumista ja sain palautetta ensiapupäivän järjestämisestä. Vastaukset analysoitiin määrällisellä analyysillä sekä sisällön analyysillä. Vastausten perusteella teemapäivä onnistui erittäin hyvin ja aihetta pidettiin tärkeänä. Yhteenvetona voidaan todeta, että ensiapupäivän järjestämiselle on selvästi tarvetta ja sairaanhoitaja opiskelijoiden osaamiselle on käyttöä työelämässä. The obligation to provide assistance is also laid down in the Road Traffic Act, the Act on Rescue Services and the Police Act (the Road Traffic Act (267/1981), the Act on Rescue Services (468/2003) and the Police Act (493/1995).) According to the Occupational Safety and Health Act, an employer has the duty to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for its employees. (Occupational Safety and Health Act 738/2002, Section 46 and Section 47). Those who have taken part in first aid courses or have practiced first aid are more prepared to take action in real-life situations. (Castren, Korte & Myllyrinne 2012) The purpose of the thesis is to arrange a First Aid theme day with the objective of making it easier for employees to take action in real-life first aid situations both at work and during free time. The thesis aims to create a first aid information package with both theory and photographic instruction for on-the-job training at the Oulu Recycling Center, especially in the areas of alerting the rescue officials with a phone call, rendering first aid to an unconscious person, controlling and stopping bleeding and treatment of sprains. I am carrying out my thesis as hands-on project work. The focus groups of my thesis are the staff and instructors working at the Recycling Center. The thesis is commissioned by the Social and Health Services of the City of Oulu. At the end of the First Aid theme day I undertook a survey on the staff of the Recycling Center to measure the success of the event and receive feedback. The answers were analyzed using quantitative analysis and content-based analysis. Based on the results, the First Aid theme day was a success and the topic was viewed as important. In summary, it can be concluded that there is clearly a need for a First Aid theme day and that there is a demand for nursing skills in the commercial sector.
