The purpose of the thesis was to develop tools for quality assurance and production supervision for Insaco Oy. Insaco Oy operates in the Northern Savo region and employs from 25 to 30 construction professionals. The main business field of Insaco Oy is renovation. In this thesis, quality as a concept, quality management, construction legislation related to quality assurance and the quality assurance of a construction project were studied. In addition, work safety legislation was studied. The information for the thesis was provided by literature from Rakennustieto Oy , legislation on for land use and construction (in Finnish: Maankäyttö- ja rakennuslaki) and other relevant literature and publications in the field. In the material produced for Insaco Oy, RT’s model documents, RATU cards and legislation requirements were utilised. As a result of this thesis, a construction site quality programme, a weekly checkup form and a room construction planner for demolition and building phases were designed for Insaco Oy. Possible risks, preparation for the risks and the procedures for quality assurance were presented in the construction site quality programme. The weekly checkup form was meant for the weekly checkup of the construction site regarding work safety and quality. The purpose of the room construction planner was to clarify the work phases on the construction site. The work phases and the used materials were documented in the room construction planner.
