Hiehojen tuotantokustannukset ovat merkittävä osa maidontuotannon kustannuksia ja siksi niihin on syytä kiinnittää huomiota. Usein hiehon kasvatuksen todellisia kustannuksia ei huomata ja ne mielletään alhaisemmaksi kuin ne todellisuudessa ovat. Apuvälineeksi hiehojen tuotantokustannusten laskentaan laati Marita Jääskeläinen eHieho-tuotantokustannuslaskurin KeNa -hankkeen toimeksiannosta. Toimiakseen halutulla tavalla useat sovellukset vaativat käyttöohjeet. Niin myös eHieho-sovellukselle katsottiin tarpeelliseksi laatia käyttöohjeet.

Tämän opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli luoda eHieho-tuotantokustannuslaskurille käyttöohjeet, joiden avulla tuottajat voivat laskea helposti, luotettavasti ja käyttäjäystävällisesti hiehojen tuotantokustannuksen omalle karjalleen. Ohjeiden laadinnan perusteena käytettiin tietokirjallisuutta ohjeiden kirjoittamisesta sekä tuotantokustannuslaskennasta.

Työ on toiminnallinen opinnäytetyö, jonka raportissa on lyhyet kirjalliset osiot tuotantokustannuslaskennasta, hiehon kasvatuksen kannattavuudesta, ohjeiden laadinnasta ja verkkojulkaisemisesta, koska ne liittyivät kiinteästi tämän opinnäytetyön päätuotokseen. Raportissa kuvataan myös koko eHieho-ohjeet opinnäytetyön prosessin kulku alusta päätökseen saakka. Prosessi kuvauksessa kerrotaan muun muassa miten ohjeiden siirto tapahtui web-sivustolle, kuinka ohjeet visualisoitiin ja miten HTML-kielen avulla ohjeille luotiin päänäkymäksi kuvakartta helpottamaan niiden käyttöä.

Tuloksena tästä työstä syntyi eHieho-ohjeet, jotka ovat kaikkien saatavilla sähköisessä muodossa Savonia ammattikorkeakoulun Hiehohotelli¬-hankkeen web-sivulla osoitteessa: https://hiehohotelli.savonia.fi/index.php/ehieho

Heifer’s productions costs are remarkable part of whole milk production costs and that’s why it is important take look at those costs. Usually farmers doesn’t notice heifer breeding totally costs and they thought that costs are lower than what cost really are. As a help in calculating the real costs of heifer breeding Marita Jääskeläinen drew up in the year 2013 via the KeNa project an eHieho- heifer cost production calculator application. So applications work way that how those have plan, usually applications need instructions. So it considered that also in eHieho-application need instructions.

This thesis target is create eHieho-production costs calculator instruction, which help farmers calculate easily, reliable and user-friendly heifer production costs they own cattle. To instructions draw up has used nonfictions about instruction writing and production costs calculation.

This is functional thesis, which report includes short parts about productions costs calculation, heifer viability breeding, instructions creating and Internet publishing because all of those join this thesis main output. The report also describes all the eHieho-instructions as well as the whole process of the thesis from beginning to completion. In the description of the process is told amongst other things how the transfer of the instructions to the website happened, how the instructions were visualized and how with the help of HTLM-language a picture map was created as a main view to help in the use of the instructions.
