Pirkanmaan sairaanhoitopiirin lääkehoitosuunnitelman mukaan potilaiden lääkehoitoon osallistuminen edellyttää LOVe – koulutuksen suorittamista. LOVe – koulutus otettiin käyttöön Pirkanmaan sairaanhoitopiirissä vuonna 2009.

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli selvittää röntgenhoitajien kokemuksia lääkehoidon opiskelusta ja tentin suorittamisesta verkossa. Opinnäytetyötä ohjaavat tehtävät olivat: Minkälaisena röntgenhoitajat kokevat LOVe – koulutuksen suorittamisen, Miten röntgenhoitajat kokevat LOVe – koulutuksen sisällön liittyvän röntgenhoitajan työhön sekä Miten röntgenhoitajat kokevat lääkehoidon osaamisensa kehittyneen LOVe – koulutuksen jälkeen? Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tuottaa Pirkanmaan sairaanhoitopiirille tietoa kokemuksista LOVe – koulutuksen materiaalista, sen opiskelusta ja tentistä röntgenhoitajan näkökulmasta. Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin laadullisella tutkimusmenetelmällä ja tutkimusaineisto kerättiin haastattelemalla neljää Pirkanmaan sairaanhoitopiirin röntgenhoitajaa. Haastattelut toteutettiin yksilöhaastatteluina. Aineisto käsiteltiin teorialähtöisellä sisällönanalyysillä.

Opinnäytetyön tulosten mukaan röntgenhoitajien kokemukset LOVe – koulutuksesta olivat pääsääntöisesti yhtenäiset. Koulutuksen sisällön ei koettu vastaavan röntgenhoitajan toimenkuvaa lääkehoidossa. Sisältö koettiin lähinnä yleissivistävänä. Röntgenhoitajat toivoivat LOVe – koulutukseen omaa alaa koskevaa tietoa ja turhiksi koettujen asioiden määrän supistamista. Verkko-opiskelu itsenäisesti koettiin hyvänä ja tarkoitukseen sopivana opiskelumuotona. Tulokset osoittavat, että röntgenhoitajat eivät ole tyytyväisiä LOVe – koulutukseen sen nykyisessä muodossa ja toivovat siihen muutosta.

Under the medication plan of Pirkanmaa’s hospital district it is required to complete the LOVe – education in order to participate in patient medication. The LOVe – education was brought to use in 2009.

The purpose of this thesis was to find out radiographers experiences in LOVe – education. The survey tasks were: How did radiographers experience the performance of the LOVe – education? How did radiographers experience the relation of the content of LOVe – education and radiographers work? How did radiographers experience their medication skills have improved after LOVe – education? The aim of this thesis was to provide information to Pirkanmaa’s hospital district about radiographer experience in LOVe – education, the study material, studying the material and the exam. This thesis was done in qualitative method and the information was collected by interviewing four radiographers from Pirkanmaa’s hospital district. The interviews were done individually. The interview material was processed with qualitative content analysis.

According to the results of this thesis the radiographers had a rather mutual take on the LOVe – education. The radiographers experienced the content of the education did not match the information required in radiographers job description. The content was experienced as general knowledge rather than information that is professionally improving. Radiographers hoped that information about their occupation would be included in the LOVe – education and some of the unnecessary information should be reduced. Self-reliant e-learnig was experienced as a good learning method for studying medication. According to the results the radiographers are not pleased with the LOVe – education as it is and hope that some changes will be made.
