This bachelor´s thesis was commissioned by Levorannan Autoliike Oy. Ford spare parts with low inventory turnover are handled in this thesis. The purpose of this thesis was to perform stocktaking for these spare parts, to discover suitable Ford models for these spare parts and to discover the most potential places of sale. These measures would improve inventory profitability and inventory turnover.

These measures were performed on the premises of Levorannan Autoliike Oy, utilizing computer software and physically in the spare parts warehouse. Warehousing and inventory management are handled in the theory section of this thesis.

As a result, an Excel table containing information (item number, name, quantity and suitable Ford models) on these spare parts with low inventory turnover was created. This can be used when reselling the spare parts.
