Project communication and Enterprise System (ES) implementation have been studied widely in the past decade. There are both similarities and differences in the results, which is a result of success being hard to define and difficult to limit. This thesis has been conducted as a literature review and the purpose of this thesis is to evaluate how communication can affect ES implementation and its success. The aim is to help change agents find new aspects of commu-nication to help change management and improve change management. The thesis also defined implementation-related stakeholders as well as key critical success factors for implementation success. As a result, it was found, that the implementation success can be affected by communication. By understanding how to communicate between different stakeholder groups and by involving the end users in the decision-making process, the right requirements for the system can be provided. By this the suitability of the program can be guaran-teed.
