Työn tavoitteena oli luoda Raya Diversin työharjoittelijoille perehtymisopas, joka toimii työnopastuksen tukena sekä auttaa työharjoittelijaa sopeutumaan uuteen työympäristöön. Perehtymisoppaan tarkoituksena on vastata työharjoittelijan kysymyksiin työharjoitteluun valmistautuessa ennen työharjoittelun alkamista. Valitsin aiheen huomattuani sen tarpeellisuuden ollessani itse työharjoittelussa Raya Diversilla. Raya Divers Phang Nga Co.Ltd on viiden tähden PADI-sukelluskeskus Etelä-Thaimaassa. Yrityksellä on viisi eri toimipistettä turistien suosimissa lomakohteissa. Olen itse ollut työharjoittelussa Raya Diversilla kahdesti, molemmilla kerroilla eri kohteissa. Työharjoitteluni alettua sain käytännön perehdytystä sekä myyntikoulutuksen, mutta kirjallinen perehdytys ja materiaali olivat hieman puutteellista. Rajasin perehdytysoppaan niin, että se toimii yleisesti kaikissa Raya Diversin kohteissa sekä on kohdistettu uusille työharjoittelijoille. Raya Diversin toimipisteet toimivat kukin itsenäisesti ja kaikilla on omat toimintatavat, mutta työharjoittelijoiden perehdytys on kuitenkin kaikissa kohteissa sama. Retkikohteista en kuitenkaan työhöni kirjoita, sillä ne riippuvat toimipisteestä ja saattavat vaihdella vuosittain. Perehdytysopas toimii ainoastaan työharjoittelijoille, sillä sukelluskouluttajille- ja oppaille työhön vaaditaan PADI-standardien mukainen koulutus. Opinnäytetyön teoriapohja koostuu perehdyttämisestä, työnopastuksesta, sekä työturvallisuuteen liittyvästä teoriasta, joihin olen käyttänyt kirjojen sekä internetin lähteitä. Teoriaosuudessa en käytä omia näkemyksiäni, vaan ne olen lisännyt itse perehdyttämisoppaan osioon. Opinnäytetyö on toiminnallinen opinnäytetyö, joten käyn tätä myös läpi teoriaosuudessa. Toiminnallinen opinnäytetyö kattaa tapauksessani käytännön toiminnan ohjeistamista. En tehnyt tutkimusta opinnäytetyöhöni, mutta olen ollut yhteydessä useisiin Raya Diversin aikaisempiin työharjoittelijoihin sekä henkilökuntaan, jotta olen saanut perehdytysoppaasta tarpeeksi kattavan.

The objective of this thesis was to create an introduction guide to the trainees of Raya Divers Phang Nga Co.Ltd. The introduction guide is working as a supportive element of the workplace introduction and is helping the trainees to adjust to the new working conditions. The purpose of this introduction guide is to answer the questions the trainees might have while preparing them-selves for the practical training. This is a functional thesis, meaning it is made for practical pur-poses. This thesis is not a research, but I contacted former interns and employees of Raya Di-vers to make the workplace introduction comprehensive. The topic was chosen as I realized its necessity during my own practical training for Raya Divers. Raya Divers Phang Nga Co.Ltd is a five star PADI- diving center in Southern Thailand. The Company has five locations in popular tourist resorts. I have been doing two internships for Raya Divers, both times in different locations. When my internship started, they provided me with practical guiding for the job, but there was a lack of literary guiding, as the material was de-ficient. I directed the introduction guide generally for the use of all the locations. The guide is directed to the new trainees only. All the locations of Raya Divers are working independently and all of them have their own ways of working. However, the introduction for trainees is similar in all five locations. I will not be writing about the excursions, since they depend on the location, and might be changing annually. The introduction guide is directed to the trainees because scuba diving instructors and guides need an education compatible of the PADI-standards. The theory of the thesis is based on literature and internet sources concerning workplace intro-duction and work safety.
