Low back pain is a nationally significant problem. It is one of the biggest causes of sick leaves and doctor visits. The risk factors for low back pain outbreak are unhealthy and inactive lifestyle combined with challenging working postures.

It is common that low back pain is associated with different impairments in functionality. Most common impairments are combined with insufficient mobility, wrongly timed or dysfunctional muscle activation, lack of movement control or poor back posture. These impairments can be effected on with practice and exercises.

Active and passive posture control, mobility and muscle activation are meaningful for optimal functionality of the back. By improving these factors, it is possible to effect on physical performance and on volume of experienced pain. Huber spine force - device is meant to improve these features.

The purpose of this thesis was to create written guide for usage of Huber SpineForce - device in independent training and consequently to offer a tool to work with low back pain for members of the gym. Guidebook received positive feedback amongst the members of the gym and it was experienced to enable the self-training with the device.
