The aim of this study was to bring the model in the camp work that was developed for basic youth work in Kouvola into the written form. The camp model and its various aspects related to information and experiments will be in written form through modeling and descriptions.

Camp work is a broad term so this study will focus on making the guiding principle for illustrative purposes concerning planning and execution. The camp model provides a general view of the camp work as well as the theory of knowledge, upbringing and enjoyable experience. The educational and experiential point of view is acknowledged and incorporated into the camp work so the theoretical part of each concept is opened.

The material consists of observations on camp work in general, participation in the camp work seminars and e-mail questionnaires as well as theoretical parts. As a result of this study, the foundation for the camp work is created by using a questionnaire as well as answers to the basic youth work, and other work in organizing the camp practices. The survey was the youth workers on an e-mail survey, which questions have been camping on the basis of the seminar. The camp model is created for easing the camp employees' work and to accelerate it. The camp model provides a one-man point of view where the work process is dressed in a written form.
