In the Bachelor's Thesis, a miniature model of trawling height adjustment apparatus was designed and implemented. The thesis was commissioned by T:mi Eero Muhonen. The goal was to be able to adjust the distance (height) of the trawl from the bottom of the lake both manually and automatically. The distance to the bottom is measured with ultrasonicsensor. The height control was carried out using a Raspberry Pi 3 microcomputer that provides GPIO interfaces via a Wi-Fi connection.

As a result, wireless height adjustment of the trawl was implemented. The height is adjusted via a web management page using a tablet computer.
