The purpose of this thesis was to explore the place of BIM in the Russian construction market. Nowadays BIM is new and confident-development technology. Many construction companies started to explore this technology. The aim is to show the level of using BIM in Russia. The study used the data from different conferences, websites and specialized publications. The results of the study show that BIM is a very actual topic and most of the Russian construction companies have started to implement the technology in their projects. Manufacturer started to use BIM for product details and materials for construction needs. The Russian government started program that will require companies to use BIM.
