Seikkailupuiston uudet tuulet : case Seikkailupuisto Pakka, Kalajoki

The purpose of this thesis was to research customer satisfaction of Adventure Park Pakka which is located in Kalajoki and renewed for summer 2016. The customer satisfaction survey was drawn up in English and Finnish versions to the Webropol survey tool through which it was distributed by link on the website and Facebook site of Adventure Park Pakka. The survey examined i.e. why customer decided to go on an adventure, from where customer heard about Adventure Park Pakka for the first time and with whom customer came to the adventure. Questions related to renewed Adventure Park Pakka were i.e. popularity of adventure tower X-Tower together with quality-price ratio and service-minded staff of the park. In addition to these, the purpose was to generate an idea of new theme days for the season 2017. This was the reason why the customers were also given an opportunity to brainstorm.

The theoretical framework of this thesis deals with theory on customer satisfaction such as service path and customer value. In addition to customer satisfaction, this thesis deals with productization of tourism services, the meaning of tourism and tourists as a broader concept - without forgetting adventure tourism. After the theory of tourism, this thesis deals with the implementation of this research which is quantitative research. In addition to the implementation of the research, the theory of sampling group and reliability together with i.e. different data collection methods are opened in this study. The research report analyzes the empirical part of the research results obtained, as well as creating conclusions. The customer satisfaction survey can be considered reliable because it collected a total of 175 answers. Adventure Park Pakka got mostly positive feedback but development targets can be found from the product range of Cafe Pakka as well as things related to practice. Because this was the first research ever on Adventure Park Pakka, this can be used as a reference for new studies in the future.
