VIESTINTÄPALVELUIDEN TUTKIMUS : Kuopion alueen organisaatioiden tietämys ja tarpeet viestintäpalveluista

This final project is a research on communication services. The target group of the research is or- ganizations in the Kuopio area, and in the study organizations’ needs and awareness of the ser- vices are investigated. The thesis deals with the marketing and communication field and its current economic situation. The project’s commissioner, advertising and communication agency Hermo is also introduced in the report.

Firstly, the study examines the theory of communication and its’ purposes of use in organizations. Communication services are introduced from Hermo’s services’ point of view. Secondly, the ques- tionnaire survey applied in the study was based on these services. The answers were analyzed using the methods of quantitative research. After that, in the analysis the survey results are pro- cessed in seriatim. The analyzed results are illustrated with various charts and diagrams. In addi- tion, the differences found are presented in the report.

The final part of the thesis introduces a summary and development targets to service providers, especially to the commissioner Hermo. The goals and progression of the project are observed in the author’s and Hermo's point of view.
