Abstract In 2019, the SARS-CoV2 coronavirus pandemic began. The coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 belongs to RNA viruses that mutate during RNA replication in the spike protein of the virus. SARS-Cov-2corona viruses cause severe acute respiratory syndrome in humans. The thesis was done using the method of development work, and the purpose is to make a poster for biomedical laboratory students about the course of the SARS-Cov-2 sample in the laboratory work process. The goal of the development work is to increase students' knowledge of the coronavirus sampling and analysis process. The purpose of the poster is to provide students with information about SARS-CoV-2 laboratory studies. Through the poster, the student understands the course of the laboratory research process, such as the pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical stages. The poster was designed at InfographVenngage. In the future, the poster could be developed into, for example, a Power-Point or a video. A PowerPoint presentation is a presentation graphics program that can present e.g. text, images and sound as well as videos. Video presentations could be published on the internet, and students could add their own videos to the site and watch and comment on other users' videos. Video presentations could be made via YouTube, for example.
