This thesis was implemented at fall 2022 as a research study. The outcome was a development suggestion for RE/MAX Ainoa’s recruitment process. RE/MAX Ainoa is the commissioner of this thesis.

This thesis orientates to different phases of a recruitment process and gives a definition for a successful recruitment process. The thesis also considers the most common challenges in the recruitment process, its significance to different parties and what the future trends in recruitment might look like.

The knowledge is based on relevant literature and online articles that consider knowledge from this specific topic.

The commissioner’s current recruitment process has been compared to the knowledge base and differences that were found are the foundation for the development suggestion. The objective of this thesis is to intensify company’s recruitment process and make them achieve a successful one.

The development suggestion includes important guidelines for a good job announcement and successful applicant communication. It also includes different operating models for commissioner’s different recruitment needs. This helps the company to develop their own process and improve their employer image.
